In this video, I staged my mother in a hospital room, right before her brain surgery performing a humor-filled book of poems in the style of Shakespeare. The author of the photo booklet, which is still in my family's possession ,is Hans Scharoun in collaboration with his wife Aenne Scharoun and the photographer Alice Kerling. The origin of this work is from 1933.
