The concept of the Jewish nose, historically used as a derogatory stereotype associated with anti-Semitism, is a poignant element within this project. Through artistic expression, it challenges its negative connotations, invoking conversations about identity, cultural bias, and societal perceptions.

In the context of the exhibition, participants are not just washing their hands; they are engaging in a layered experience. They are cleansing both physically and metaphorically, as they confront the historical weight of prejudice. This multifaceted encounter prompts viewers to reflect on the power of art to reshape narratives, reclaim narratives, and provoke dialogue on subjects that have long been fraught with misunderstanding.

The act of cleansing one's hands with a soap bearing the contours of my own nose transgresses traditional notions of art appreciation, inviting viewers to forge an intimate, almost tactile bond with the work. By crafting soap molds modeled after my own nose, it creates an object that intertwines the personal and the collective, artistry and socio-cultural commentary.
